Thought i would share a few screenshots of one of my more successful sorties in the skies of Hightech Creations ACES HIGH WW1.

was just a regular sortie in the dogfighting arena, took off from A5 and flew west about a minute before i got into the fight, found myself in a bit deep but had some help from some good ole WW1 friends from sway back...lol

i wound up with a few kills to my credit, and a very damaged plane, im sure my CO will have something to say about that, it may have been better if i got killed instead of bringing my kite home in this shape...

The 2.18 Patch 0 release of Aces High is ready and with this we introduce World War I!.
Check the information page for more details concerning this release and, optionally, information needed to manually update the game.

The high resolution texture package has also been updated. If you are using it, then you must update your texture package as well.

As a reminder, if you are running a software firewall, and cannot connect after the patch is installed, you need to re-allow the game (aceshigh.exe) back through your firewall.

World War I Air News: The Bristol F.2B Here are some screenshots of the Bristol F.2B.


Here are some development screenshots of the Bristol F.2B. Work on the next version of Aces High that contains the WWI expansion is moving along with all the major components and art just about completed. There is still a good amount of detail work and debugging to finish but the end is in sight.

Work on the WWI expansion is progressing along and will be in the next version. We had hoped to have it completed by the end of this year but we're running a little bit long with development. We expect to have it out in the early part of the year.

Coming Soon: World War I Air Combat! We are pleased to announce an upcoming expansion to the Aces High plane set that will introduce World War I (WWI) air combat to the skies of Aces High. The initial four plane set will consist of the Fokker Dr.I, Sopwith Camel, Bristol F.2B, and Fokker D.VII.

These new planes will be available in a separate WWI dogfight arena and will also be available for special events. They will be the first planes to use a new damage system with greatly expanded capability.

Release of the WWI planes is expected before the end of the year although it will not be in the next version release.
